USPTC Chairman addresses Polish Senate

On October 10th, 2006, Prof. Piotr D. Moncarz, chairman of US-Polish Trade Council, visited the Senate of the Republic of Poland where, at a meeting of the parliamentary group; Information Age Society and Knowledge Based Economy, he described the important role the Polish diaspora, “Polonia,” could play in building advanced technology and science bridges between Poland and other world centers. Prof. Moncarz pointed out the enormous potential Polonia represents in raising Poland to the international stage of advanced technology and science-based economies. The US-Polish Trade Council, a non-profit Silicon Valley headquartered organization, was showcased as a model component for such initiatives. Following Prof. Moncarz’s address, he answered questions from Senators, other representatives of the Polish Government, and invited journalists.
