In March 2007, Global Technology Symposium at Stanford was significantly ”Polonized” through the participation of Polish high ranking speakers, senator Jerzy Szymura of the Senate of Poland, and deputy minister Prof. Krzysztof Kurzydłowski of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland.
