ANOTHER EDITION OF THE TOP 500 INNOVATORS PROGRAM STARTED AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY

On September 20th, 2015, participants of the 11th Edition of the Top 500 Innovators Science Management Commercialization Program were greeted during a formal lunch by prof. Piotr D. Moncarz, co-founder and chairman, and Mr. Jerzy Orkiszewski, president of US-Polish Trade Council, respectively.  35 Polish R&D professionals from various scientific fields will study for nine weeks at Stanford University in order to raise their qualifications in technology transfer.  On the same day, the Top 500 Innovators visited Stanford University with prof. Moncarz as their guide who shared interesting tidbits of Stanford’s history.

On September 21st, 2015, the 11th Edition of the Top 500 Innovators Program was officially inaugurated at Stanford University.  Ms. Carissa Little, Managing Director of Programs at Stanford Center for Professional Development, prof. Michael Lepech, Academic Director of the Top 500 Innovators Program, prof. Piotr Moncarz and Mr. Jerzy Orkiszewski warmly welcomed the participants from Poland.

Once again, Mr. Tad Taube, Honorary Consul for the Republic of Poland, and Mr. Mark Chandler, Director of San Francisco Mayor’s Office of International Trade and Commerce, gave enthusiastic and highly applauded speeches to the group coming from the best Polish universities and technology schools.
