On October 28, 2013, during the 2013 edition of Poland Silicon Valley Science and Technology Symposium Life Sciences and Advanced Materials, the US- Polish Trade Council signed a Cooperation Agreement with the City of Białystok, represented by the President of the City of Białystok, Mr. Tadeusz Truskolaski, and by the Chairman of the City Council, Mr. Włodzimierz Kusak.
