Poland Day 2013 took place on March 25th in the Crown Room of the historic Fairmont Hotel on Nob Hill in San Francisco. What a venue, what a view of the City!
We were honored to welcome our prominent Guests, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the United States, Dr. Ryszard Schnepf, the Consul General of Poland for the Western U.S., Ms. Joanna Kozińska-Frybes, Director of San Francisco Mayor’s Office of International Trade and Commerce, Mr. Mark Chandler, the Chief of the Trade Department at the Polish Embassy in Washington DC, Dr. Pawel Pietrasienski, and Deputy President of Katowice, Poland, Mr. Marcin Krupa.
This year’s discussion panels focused on ideas and new technologies associated with the computer game industry as well as investment in start-ups. The topics spurred a lively discussion not only among the panelists, but to a great extent among all the participants in the main conference room and in the foyer. We were happy to see the intense networking and inspiring discussions that arose during the breaks and after the last session. US-Polish Trade Council (“USPTC”) wishes to extend many thanks to the moderators and speakers for sharing their knowledge and experience.
USPTC’s main goal – to connect Poland- and US-based companies, institutions and professionals, and to create an inspiring venue leading to future contacts and relations was fully achieved. Once again, USPTC has proved that POLAND IS IN THE GAME!
We would like to thank our sponsors and patrons for their kind contribution and support.
